Sadie Sadistic's World of Musical Obsession

Hello friends. I live on the beautiful Vancouver Island in British Columbia. British Columbia is home to many talented musicians, which is the main reason why I am here. I needed a place to promote these bands, share my stories of being at their shows and meeting them, post pictures and video, and post about my adventures of trying to be a local promoter. Courtenay Millenium Park w/ My Broken Hero

My Broken Hero played in Courtenay yesterday in a gazebo down at the park.  This was the first outdoor show I’ve seen with any of the Island bands, and it was actually quite refreshing with the nice breeze/sporadic hurricane force winds.

Now, I’m a huge fan of this band.  I’m not going to go in to the details of why in this post as I’m planning on doing a post strictly for them and will get in to it there… but I just love their sound. AND they are great guys to boot!

They put on a good show, and I have to say, that was the YOUNGEST all ages crowd I’ve been around yet.  I seriously felt like an ogre amongst a horde of hobbits… so many kiddies.  It’s cool they got to see a the band though.

Thanks to the members (and merch girl!) of My Broken Hero for playing in our town again!  Until next time *cheers*  Maybe we’ll hit up Wendy’s again someday and pig out on nuggets and french fries.
